DEFENDING THE REICH Version 1.1 (Patch 2) 25 April 2015 1. Updated to Vista/Win7/Win 8 Standards. 2. Removed DirectX resize screen function. 3. Changed videos from .avi to .wmv format. DEFENDING THE REICH Version 1.0.1 (Patch 1) 29 December 2006 1. New Feature - The German player can now pause the game during the execution of the turn, assess the situation, and issue orders to the gruppen. This feature is an OPTIONAL feature and must be selected from the "Game Options" panel. The default setting is set to "off". Pressing the space bar or clicking on the "Pause Game" button will implement this feature. Note: This feature has been added due to customer requests. However, the design team strongly recommends this feature remain disabled if the player wants greater realism. We believe the pressure of making decisions within a limited period of time was a major challenge for the German commanders and therfore should remain a key component of game play. 2. New Feature - Players can now multi-select units within the unit status window and change their readiness levels. This can be accomplished by using one of three standard methods for selecting items within a Windows list: Click on a unit and then Shift+Click to select a single group, CTRL + Click for selected units, or Mouse-down, drag, and Mouse-up to select a single group. 3. DTR Bug 1 (Major) - Corrected bug that cuased the game to crash whenever an RAF raid was destroyed over the target by FlaK. 4. DTR Bug 4 (Minor) - Corrected the bug that sometimes displayed the arrival or departure of RAF units to the German player. 7. DTR Bug 5 (Major) - Corrected the bug that caused the player to lose the ability to save a game file or continue to play the existing game after clicking on the "Cancel" button when notified that the file name already exists. 8.
