Please Note: Effective 1 FEB 2004, HPS Simulations has deleted the Tigers/Panthers/Dragons/Broken Alliance series from its catalog and terminated official support for the products. Certain pre-existing files will remain available on this website as a convenience for owners of these products.

Instructions for installation of the following patch files:

1. Download and save the file for future use to a folder/directory established for patch files.
2. Copy the patch file to the folder/directory where the game is located.
3. Execute the patch file:

DOS

WIN 95/98

Type the file name and enter, e.g. type "top-208" and then <enter>. Do not type the quotes " ". The program will ask about overwriting existing. Hit the "a" key (for all) and the patch file will execute. Start the program normally.

Using My Computer or Windows Explorer, locate the specific game folder and open it it. Locate the patch file you just copied. Open the patch file (right click and "Open") or simply double left click on the patch file. A DOS window will open and the program will ask about overwriting existing. Hit the "a" key (for all) and the patch file will execute. Close the DOS window the start the program normally.

*Data updates include only the revised data files. You must first install the main patch file if you have not done before. After this is complete, unzip the Data Update into your ToP or PS directory and overwrite the files. The Data Update patches are not interchangeable - you must use the specific patch for the designated game.
